In recent years, people are very familiar with the word “the New Normal”. Words such as “excess production capability”, “economic transition”, “One Belt and One Road” and “Internet plus Era” are often seen in the newspaper. Owing to the depth transformation of global economy, China’s development entered the new normal with economic downward pressure keeping increasing and logistics industry facing with structural adjustment. In March 2015, the premier Li Keqiang put forward the “Internet plus” action plan in the Government Work Report, then the Guidance about Promote “Internet Plus” action was issued by the state council in June. The “Efficient Logistics” becomes one of eleven key actions in the “Internet Plus”. As an important part of the “Efficient Logistics”, what can pallet do to integrate itself with the “Internet Plus”; under the condition of New Normal, pallet enterprises how to overcome economic downward pressure and get up the courage and move on; suffering in situations where market is out of order, price war tends to be extreme and competitions get increasingly cruel, pallet enterprises need to get together and find ways to deal with it and figure out some solutions.
The theme of this pallet international meeting is “Pallet Enterprises Operating and Developing Ways under the Condition of New Normal”. Making use of the platform of this global pallet industry and the opportunity of the big pallet family members getting together, we can communicate with each other face to face and exchange our opinions to get scientific, objective and effective conclusion finally which will make confused representatives see the bright future ahead of them and guide them to find new developing opportunities. Therefore, the “Tittle” meeting and exhibition is scheduled to be held on December 2 and 3 in Chengdu, Wang Jiang hotel. Since we are under the new normal, new opportunities and new challenges, we need to calm down and make common research about strategies; we have enough reason to believe that the team wisdom has strong power. At the same time, please remind yourself that you are one of the team members too.
As the capital of Sichuan province, 108 enterprises among the world’s top 500 enterprises developed in Chengdu, and it is also the important industrial base and logistics hub city in China’s southwest area. The speed of Chengdu’s economic growth listed forefront within China, particularly the machine, electronics and medicine industries. The pallet under delivering in urban area has explored a set of mature experience. The rapid development in pallet industry lays the foundation for the construction of “One Belt and One Road”.
Sichuan province is historically known as the “land of abundance”, being the capital city of it, Chengdu was regarded as the national capital city during the period of the Three Kingdoms by Shu and Han country. Temple of Marquis, Du Fu Thatched Cottage and Du Jiang Weir are all well known worldwide attractions. Meanwhile, Chengdu is also an ancient city with profound cultural background.
